Beyobasi

I know it was a little while ago that I went to Turkey now but I was just looking through some photos and I wanted to share with you all the most beautiful place I have ever been to. It was like something I have dreamed of, or those photos you see on Tumblr and think 'man, I hope I'm lucky enough to go there one day'. So here it is - the Balin restaurant in Beyobasi

Situated by the coldest river ever in the mountains this restaurant is also a trout and chicken farm. All the tables are around and over the river, underneath the trees. There's no menu, you are simply asked on arrival 'chicken or fish' and you can watch the owners wife fish one of the trout out of the pools next to your table and fillet it then and there. As a veggie we went for some freshly made bread (still warm out of the oven), home-made baklava and cheese rolls. All washed down with plenty of chai, of course.

We particularly liked the rope swings. The waiters had fun swinging us over the river the hardest they could!

I could have sat here all day!
